My New Best Friend

She doesn't have a name yet, but I love her!

Having a dress form has already helped me so much. I don't know what I ever did without one. My cousin picked it up for me at a yard sale for 20 bucks! I was so excited when I got it! And I'm still just as excited! She's gonna get lots of use.

Chevron Dress

This is my first dress I've made where I didn't use any kind of pattern! It was actually super fun! and way less aggravating then stupid patterns that I can never understand. Haha! I'm excited to see where this new journey takes me and to see how many other things I can make without patterns. And I must say I don't know what I ever did without a dress form...

Here's some pictures I took of it real quick. (next time I will get someone to take them. It's way too difficult by myself with a manual focus!)

And I NEVER wear lipstick. So I had to prove that I actually wore it ...once.

Hi there! If you're reading this right now, thank you for stopping by! I've started this new blog to mainly follow my dress making adventures. But it will probably include some odd and ends as well.

First I have to say that I'm brand new with this whole dress making thing. I've only made a few and they were super basic beginner dresses. So as a beginner please don't judge me too harshly... haha. Although, I would LOVE feedback and advice!! I really want to learn what I'm doing wrong or if there's easier/better ways to go about things.
